Abhar Copper Industries Manufacturing Company was established in 2021; within a short period, by increasing its capacity to 10,000 tons, it became one of the largest copper rod producers in the country and the Middle East.
A facility spanning 10,000 square meters, featuring a covered area, is located in Abhar. In addition to three types of copper wire—ETP, OFE, and copper alloys—Abhar Copper Wire Industries produces various bare and tinned copper conductors in a range of cross-sections.
This company was established with the aim of producing copper rod and conductors. The Abhar Copper Rod Industries plant is located in the Abhar Industrial Estate. Equipped with various copper rod production lines—including continuous casting and rolling lines utilizing technology from the Italian company Properzi—the facility is capable of simultaneously producing Cu-ETP (ETP, FRHC) rods in various diameters. It also possesses the capability to produce oxygen-free copper (Cu-OF) rod using the upward casting method with technology from Outokumpu-Properzi.
